PROJECT EXPERIENCE
Jan 2026 – Jan 2026
- Personal Project | Next.js 16 (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind v4, LLM API, Docker, AWS Terraform | Link: lagombyli.dev
- Built a live "Ask My CV" agent that answers interview questions as me, in first person with STAR structure
- Engineered a grounded-answer pipeline: PDF/DOCX extraction, heuristic CV parsing, and deterministic citation verification, so every claim carries a verbatim quote and uncovered topics get an honest refusal, never a hallucination.
- Added production admin: GitHub OAuth allowlist, CV upload, content CRUD, usage dashboard, and rate limiting, with the deterministic core covered by 49 unit tests.
- Shipped it as infrastructure-as-code with Docker, Terraform, and TLS, deployed to a custom domain with a bespoke design system
NSW SES Moree Flood Impact Visualisation Platform
6-person cross-functional team | Industry Client | PMBOK Agile · Jan 2026 – Jan 2026
- Led client stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering for an industry-facing disaster preparedness platform, establishing trusted relationships with the client.
- Translated operational needs into technical scope, bridging non-technical client expectations with backend data processing and mapping workstreams (MapLibre GL JS).
- Built backend data processing and geospatial visualisation components collaboratively, ensuring seamless integration across workstreams.
- Golang Secure Application Protocol & Client-Server System 2026
- Individual Project | Link: github.com/BlueDoraemon/Golang-Wordle-Secure-Application-Protocol-
- Engineered a TLS-secured client-server application in Go featuring a custom application protocol and terminal interface (Bubble Tea/Lipgloss).
- Implemented robust networking patterns, automated unit tests, and secure data transmission practices adhering to strict security fundamentals.
Video Summarisation Agent (Full Stack AI Backend)
Individual Project (Solo Software Engineer) · Jan 2025 – Jan 2025
- Architected and engineered an AI-powered video summarisation backend utilising Python, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
- Designed typed API interfaces with strict schema validation and error-handling, emphasising reliable product integration over unconstrained raw model outputs.
Big Data ML Activity Classification Pipeline
Individual Academic Project · Jan 2025 – Jan 2025
- Designed a big-data processing pipeline in Apache Spark and PySpark using the HAR70+ dataset to classify physical activity metrics in older adults.
- Executed feature extraction, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), and automated model evaluation, reaching a 0.928 Random Forest F1 score.
Multi-Team Game Server Integration
Jan 2025 – Jan 2025
- 4-person core team within a 100-person monorepo | Link: youtube.com/watch?v=RMAjotpURAY
- Contributed Java and Scala backend updates within a 100-person shared monorepo, collaborating across sub-teams to maintain service interoperability.
- Resolved complex cross-service debugging issues and shared audio dependencies, ensuring system stability across multi-team releases.
NI Autonomous Robotics Competition
Team Lead | National Finalist | Link: youtube.com/watch?v=6W7ojTeBesg · Jan 2013 – Jan 2013
